Introductions only. Nothing here is about the water at your address, only about the fixture in front of you.

Briefly

Introductions are the whole of it. FaucetMend does no work, sells no parts, and is not party to any agreement you reach with a contractor. The lead-free date it publishes concerns fixtures and is not a statement about any water supply.

FaucetMend is a referral service, not a contractor. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are required to hold whatever credential their state or municipality demands. We carry out no work, we sell no fixtures, we do not set prices, and we never charge homeowners anything — the contractors in our network pay us when we route them a call. Nothing here is a statement about the water at any address; only a test of that water can tell you about it.

What is offered

FaucetMend is an introduction service. We connect homeowners with independent contractors. We are not a party to any agreement you reach with a contractor, we do not supervise their work and we do not guarantee it.

What the material about lead-free rules is

It is a description of a federal requirement and the date it changed, taken from EPA and linked to EPA on every page that states it. It is not an assessment of your plumbing, your fixtures or your drinking water, and no page here says or implies that any particular water is or is not safe.

Regulations are amended. If the rule has changed since this was written, read it at the source and tell us.

General information about how faucets work and what goes wrong with them. It is not an inspection of your fixtures and it is not professional advice about your property.

Correcting a page

We route you to a contractor covering your area, chosen on the ZIP code you give, free of charge to you. Faucets are simply our subject; the number itself handles any plumbing request.
